We’re excited to share that on Episode 443 of the The Guitar Knobs, the team at CopperSound Pedals dropped some big news — including a brand new workshop and the new Foxcatcher V2 pedal.

If you’re not familiar with The Guitar Knobs podcast, this is a show hosted by Todd Novak and Tony Dudzik that covers guitars, gear, noise and nonsense. They bring in builders of boutique guitars, effects and amps to talk shop.

CopperSound Pedals began back in the winter of 2014 when founder Alex Guaraldi set out with a simple goal: build top quality effects pedals while learning and refining as they went. Orders came in fast and before long friends and colleagues were asking for builds. They have since grown into a respected independent pedal company known for creative designs, used by artists ranging from Jack White and Keith Urban to many up and coming players.

The range at CopperSound Pedals spans a wide spectrum. Their catalogue includes overdrive and boost pedals, fuzz, chorus/vibrato, tremolo, octave/digital effects, pre amps and DIY accessories. Some key items: the Telegraph V2 Autostutter & Killswitch, Renegade Multi Bias Fuzz, Gravity Bomb V2 Clean Boost and Mids Enhancer, Foxcatcher Overdrive & Boost, Loma Prieta Gritty Harmonic Tremolo, Polaris Analog Chorus and Vibrato, Triplegraph/Jack White Digital Polyphonic Octave Pedal, Broadway Treble Booster and Germanium Pre-Amp, Strategy V2 Two Channel Pre Amp & Overdrive and a full DIY line. The breadth of options makes this company a go to for players who want something just a bit different.

On Episode 443 of The Guitar Knobs, Alex Guaraldi from CopperSound Pedals joins Todd and Tony to talk about what’s new at CopperSound Pedals, including the new workshop and the Foxcatcher V2. The podcast gives a behind the-scenes look at how the company is evolving, and Alex shares his thoughts on the direction they’re heading.

One of the standout announcements is the new workshop at CopperSound Pedals. With this upgrade, the company has more space and capacity to refine circuits, build pedals, test new ideas and handle growing demand. It’s a positive step for them and will benefit everyone buying from them in the near future.

The new Foxcatcher V2 is a key feature. The V2 version builds on the award winning Bluesbreaker style overdrive section from the original Foxcatcher. It adds three gain modes (Low, Med, High) and three shape modes for extra tone sculpting, plus three levels of low end control, SMART bypass (latching & momentary) with fail safe bypass operation, and supports 9 to 18 V operation. These features give you more flexibility, more control and more tonal options than many standard overdrives.

To celebrate the episode, CopperSound Pedals is giving away a Foxcatcher V2 to listeners of The Guitar Knobs. That means one lucky person will score this pedal free, well worth entering if you’re keen.

Here at FX Pedal Planet we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be stocking the Foxcatcher V2. We’ve already congratulated Alex and the team at CopperSound Pedals on this release, and we’re committed to getting them to you as soon as possible.
