Description

The Fuzzrocious Pedals 420 Fuzz is back and here to stay with three mods that make this fuzz pedal stand out from the crowd and become a staple on your board.

Just like the first 420 total units made, this original fuzz boasts an EL5420csz quad op amp that creates two different fuzz circuits that you can blend together to make one pretty blazed hybrid fuzz. Yes, Fuzzrocious Pedals picked this op amp because it has “420” in its name.

Fuzz 1 provides a highly sustaining fuzz and distortion with a tone stack that growls heavily in the lows and lower mids.

Fuzz 2 blows out a plume of slightly mid scooped heavy gated fuzz capable of grinding up your tone from thick nugs to slick chugs.

Both sides are gated; one more so than the other. Perfect for chugs, slugs, and fuzzy bugs. The Fuzzrocious Pedals 420 Fuzz provides sharp cuts in sustain to give you no string noise and feedback in between palm mutes and single notes. Use the gate to your advantage and sound different than everyone else with the Fuzzrocious Pedals 420 Fuzz.

Controls

9v/18V TOGGLE: A 9V DC output centre negative supply should be used. The toggle selects whether the Fuzzrocious Pedals 420 Fuzz is run at 9V or to 18V via a charge pump for greater headroom, less compression, more volume, and a more clarity
CLEAN BLEND KNOB: This mixes the clean signal or any pedals placed before Fuzzrocious Pedals 420 Fuzz
HYBRID KNOB: Use this control to blend Fuzz 1 and Fuzz 2 circuits together or solo just Fuzz 1 or Fuzz 2. This is like having three fuzzes in one
LEFT FOOTSWITCH: Fuzz 1 on and off
FUZZ 1 TONE: Powerful frequency sweep of fuzz 1
FUZZ 1: Adjusts the amount of gain, distortion and fuzz
