Description

The idea behind the Tonetuga FX Prysm fuzz effects pedal was simple, Michael Varela wanted a simple way to duplicate that Comfortably Numb solo tone.  That tone has captivated generations.  So rich and complex, and yet, it is created with a Fuzz Box?

The Tonetuga FX Prysm fuzz was the result.

The Tonetuga FX Prysm fuzz has its roots in the early 1970’s.  It is characterised by having lower gain and a pronounced scoop in the mid range.  This gives the Tonetuga FX Prysm fuzz a uniquely smooth texture that was famously adopted by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.

As the artwork hints, this fuzz is intended to hit that Comfortably Numb solo tone, from The Wall, as well as several Pink Floyd tones that can be found on the Animals, Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell albums.  The Tonetuga FX Prysm fuzz helps to recreate the solo tone from Sorrow just nicely too.

The Tonetuga FX Prysm fuzz is capable of so much more than just Pink Floyd tones.  Any lover of distortion and fuzz will feel right at home here.  The smooth, creamy sustain will take you into modern territory as well as nailing the classics.
