Description

Songbird is the Tonetuga FX take on a crystal clear overdrive. The Tonetuga FX Songbird provides those wide/fat, airy tones and the elaborate fullness of a hot running tube amplifier, without over colouring the original signal. Consider the Tonetuga FX Songbird as a general tone enhancer that can get a clean amp into breakup territory.

The Volume and Gain controls are designed to work in tandem with one another, like a Volume and Master on an amplifier. The tone control provides modest EQ shaping that will fatten or lighten the signal by cutting low end and leaving the high end mostly intact.

Now is where we can say things like: “Glassy SRV tones”, “That Tin Pan Alley sound” and “That John Mayer Bluesy thing”. Yes, the Tonetuga FX Songbird does that too. However, most importantly, the Tonetuga FX Songbird all you to be YOU. The Tonetuga FX Songbird’s versatility and tonal shaping allows you to get more SING from your rig.
