Description

The Theremin is an electronic musical instrument, which is controlled without physical contact. The Theremin consisted of two metal antennas, which is sensitive and reacts to proximity of the performer. 

Thereminists place one hand close to the antennas, which control oscillators for frequency and the other hand for volume.  Artists who have utilised the Theremin include.

The Electro-Faustus EF102 Photo Theremin captures the magic of the original Theremin, while putting it into a modern pedalboard friendly form. The Electro-Faustus EF102 Photo Theremin uses a light sensitive photocell to control pitch.  Add a little reverb or delay, and amaze your friends with its otherworldly sounds. 

Experiment by combining the Electro-Faustus EF102 Photo Theremin with other effects pedals.  Because of the nature of the Electro-Faustus EF102 Photo Theremin, some effects will react more than others.
