Description

The FFX Pedals Ark of Tone takes the raw, unfiltered energy of a classic overdrive and distortion circuit and pushes it further. The FFX Pedals Ark of Tone gives guitarists and bass players a dynamic dual overdrive with added flexibility and control. Developed in collaboration with Jonathan Guillemette from The Tone Lounge, the FFX Audio Ark of Tone houses two Red L style circuits in a single enclosure, each with its own independent controls. Whether used separately or stacked together, the FFX Pedals Ark of Tone delivers everything from warm, vintage amp like breakup to biting, saturated fuzz tones.

At lower gain settings, the FFX Pedals Ark of Tone produces a smooth, harmonically rich overdrive that responds beautifully to playing dynamics. Push it harder, and it takes on a more aggressive character, with a fuzzy, raspy edge that recalls the grit of an old school treble booster. The added low pass filter ensures that any unwanted brittle high end can be dialled out, giving the sound a rounded, controlled presence. The unique voltage control for each side opens up new sonic possibilities, from the saggy, sputtering response of a dying battery to glitchy, synth like textures.

Playing the FFX Pedals Ark of Tone feels like unlocking a spectrum of classic and unconventional tones, all with an intuitive and interactive feel.
