ThorpyFX The Dane is Peter "Danish Pete" Honore's signature pedal creating one the the most versatile and playable overdrive and boost pedals on the market.

ThorpyFX The Dane is a creation designed to meet the exacting needs of Peter “Danish Pete” Honore. However due to the design brief needing to cover a wide palette of sounds he uses, the ThorpyFX The Dane finished up being the most versatile effects pedal available on the market for such a clean design.

ThorpyFX The Dane has two sides, a complex light to medium gain overdrive on the left and a high headroom super clean boost on the right. ThorpyFX The Dane is designed so that the boost runs into the drive side. This yields three distinct tonal variations ranging from clean boost all the way through to full and fat saturation. ThorpyFX The Dane is also designed to clean up impeccably from your guitar volume control, and as such, is ideal for dynamic players who like to adjust their playing style.

The overdrive and boost can be used independently or stacked. The overdrive circuit consists of DRIVE, VOLUME and TONE. The boost circuit consists VOLUME and a LOW knob, which can be adjusted depending on pickups etc, e.g. more fattness for single coils and bite for humbuckers. The BOOST control adds loads of volume for solo boosting or to thicken up your existing tone and send your speakers into their sweet spot. Alternatively, leave the BOOST circuit on as your “always on” pedal.

The overdrive circuit is highly authentic that genuinely translate your guitar tones effectively. The ThorpyFX The Dane genuinely delivers your guitar tone whilst adding a level of EQ that will leaving you wanting to play more. It is very playable.

The overdrive and gain give very amp like and natural tones. The ThorpyFX The Dane delivers that iconic guitar tone that is so desirable.

Controls

DRIVE SWITCH: Activates the drive circuit on and off. Use independentally or stacked with the BOOST circuit
BOOST SWITCH: Activates the boost circuit on and off. Use independentally or stacked with the DRIVE circuit
DRIVE KNOB: Controls the level of gain and overdrive
VOLUME: Controls the output signal
TONE: Adusts EQ frequencies
BOOST: High headroom boost and volume
LOWS: Cut and add low frequencies
