Description

Doomsday Effects Cosmic Critter is their take on a muff circuit with foot switchable boost in front.  The Doomsday Effects Cosmic Critter uses LED clipping rather than standard diodes to provide an ‘open’ and 'natural' sound.  In addition, gain is turned up so that the Doomsday Effects Cosmic Critter riffs hard. 

With boost off, the Doomsday Effects Cosmic Critter behaves like a 'muff' style circuit, but with a unique character due to two stacked LED clipping stages.  With boost engaged, the Doomsday Effects Cosmic Critter takes on a life of its own.  With boost at maximum the Doomsday Effects Cosmic Critter creates a compressed fuzz with subtle octave and Velcro like qualities. 

The Doomsday Effects Cosmic Critter creates tones from mild overdrive to over the top COSMIC destruction. 

Plug in the Doomsday Effects Cosmic Critter, hit those power chords and watch the critter’s eye light up when you chug.  In fact, the critter loves fuzz so much, it’s eye lights brighter with more boost.
