And now, Volta Custom has unveiled a new creation at the recent Guitar Show Italy, one that's been five years in the making.

Volta Custom was founded in 2012 by Salvatore Di Pietro, whose lifelong obsession with tone and a background in electronics has led to some truly remarkable gear. What began as a passion project for a 90s guitarist with a knack for tinkering has since grown into a respected name in the world of boutique pedals. Today, Salvatore and his family run team continue to design and build their pedals by hand in Italy, delivering tone focused solutions that are practical, powerful, and built with a musician’s mindset.

Alongside their custom repair and modding services, Volta Custom’s range of pedals includes some seriously inspiring units. Their current lineup features the 1987, a dual channel Plexi style amp in a box, the 1987 PRO and 1987 PRO MIDI for more advanced control, The Blue overdrive for flexible drive tones, and the ExpressoR, a studio grade compressor in pedal form. There's also the Black Tweed Plus, designed with unique tone shaping, and the fuzz forward FireDirt. Each pedal is visually stunning, easy to use, and packed with sonic character.

And now, the brand has revealed their most ambitious project yet: The TwinTape. Previewed for the first time at Guitar Show Italy in Bologna, this long anticipated release combines two tape delays, stereo input and output, built in reverbs, and a looper, all within one pedal. It’s a dream machine for anyone who loves lush, immersive soundscapes or wants a comprehensive effects unit that can inspire creativity at every turn.
