Critically, it also offers three distinct gain voicings, VINT (vintage), RAW and SAT (saturation), giving you a very wide tonal palette. Whether you want Plexi like sparkle, clean vintage punch, or high gain modern distortion, the Kali can deliver.

The review by Premier Guitar tests the pedal across its modes and shows how flexible and responsive the Kali is. For example, the vintage mode on channel 1 delivers touch sensitive, toothy distortion even with modest gain settings; changing to saturation mode makes the sound ideal for heavy rhythm work, even at lower gain. Cranking the gain reveals a powerful, in your face tone reminiscent of modded Marshall aggression.

With its dual channels, active EQ, tone shaping bright switches and true bypass with relay based switching, the Kali gives you studio level control and pedalboard friendly convenience. It works equally well in a live rig or a recording setup.
